The legendary fall from the clock tower in Project A (1984)
1.
The forth stunt
It all started from a
simple set of photos which KingKing found in a special Project A edition
of a Japanese magazine called SCREEN. Below are the photos.

| PicX-1 |
PicX-2 |
PicX-3 |
PicX-4 |
Those of you who remember
the three falls in the movie, you'll easily notice that this set of pics
shows us another different version of the falling stunt. (Those who have
forgotten, compare PicX-2 with the pics below.)
 |
 |
 |
| The
first fall in the movie, Jackie or whomever goes upside down after
penetrating the first awning. |
The
second fall (definitely done by Jackie) goes upside down again
after the first awning. |
The
third fall shown in the outtakes of the movie misses the second
awning. |
Right. As a result, we now have
found out that the stunt was performed at least
four times. Therefore, even if it was Jackie who had performed all of
the three stunts in the movie as he says, we've now encountered another
person who was also brave enough to test-run the stunt. And even though
we do not know who is doing the stunt in PicX1-4, the existence of these
photos allow us to broaden our speculations and assume that the clock
tower fall stunt was tested and performed perhaps more than four times,
maybe even up to 5, 6 or 7 times.
